Skateboard Cake

Here is a skateboard cake. The party was held at Lab 33, the indoor skate park in Tigard. This was a chocolate cake  with cream cheese & strawberry filling and a butter-cream frosting. The kids had a blast skateboarding, Taylor even received a skateboard that looked like the cake minus a few details.

Strawberry Shortcake Princess Cake

 Here is a recent cake I made for a Strawberry Shortcake Princess themed birthday party.  It incorporates mostly butter cream piping especially for the ruffles along the the dress and sugar flowers and pearls add that extra princess sparkle. The cake is the skirt of the dress and the doll is removed and can be washed so that the child can play with it when the cake is finished.

Every princess needs a castle! This was a fun cake to make. It's Wilton's castle cake kit. Went perfect with the Strawberry Shortcake Princess cake.

Marvin the Martian

This cake was a blast to make. It was made for a Marvin the Martian fanatic. I love to do characters and see them come together!

Elmo Cake

Happy Birthday from Elmo! This cute little guy was a huge hit at a 1 year olds Elmo birthday party, I also made a round 6 inch cake with Big Bird on it, that was given to the birthday boy to enjoy on his own, he was wearing far more then he ate tho! Soooo...cute!

All A Board!!!

All Aboard... the Birthday Train! This train carried a Happy Birthday wish with it. The trains on each side of the cake were sugar candies, which the kids loved to get with their piece of cake.

She Made It!

 This cake is mostly butter cream frosting, the kids and hats are from fondant. As you have probably noticed, I am not a big fondant person, I don't like the taste and therefore I use as little as possible. I would be more than willing to use fondant for anyone who would like me too.

50 Year Anniversary

This cake was a blast to make! Celebrating their 50 yr. wedding anniversary, I just put the most important areas of their life together on the cake, Chuck was a pilot for an airline, and of course you have to have all the kids and the year they were each born, they loved to golf and ski, etc.

Teddy Bears Picnic

Even the ants came to this party! This Teddy Bears birthday cake was lots of fun to make. You not only have a 1/2 sheet cake but also little bear cakes for the birthday girl.

Magical Magician Cake

Wow, where did that bunny come from? This cake disappeared fast! The perfect cake for a magician theme birthday party. Place some magic candles that the birthday boy can't blow out and your fun has started!

Graduation Cake

YEAH!!! She made it. This is a simple sheet cake with butter cream frosting and fondant tassel.

Flower Candy Cake

This fun flower cake was a perfect cake for a outdoor flower party, complete with cake and candy, what more would a kid want. Yummy!

Dinosaur Roar Cake

This Dinosaur cake was another Wilton Dinosaur Pan, perfect for my Grandson, Cooper's Dinosaur theme party. Butter cream frosting with fondant teeth and eyes.
